New Build! - 93 DS Big Block
trying this again after last weeks forum issues
Picked up a 93 club car ds with some issues. I'll start the tear down in a couple of weeks. So far the plan is VC 625, Jake's Long Travel, 23" tires. I think I'm going with a dark gray Raptor Liner for paint. I ordered lift, tires and brakes from Jason's Carts last week. Everything showed up the next day except the back-ordered front brake kit. Ordered the 625 from Vegas...that will ship next week. Here's what I'm starting with: New Shoes: I love cow tails! - thanks Jason's/RHOX Thumbs down for UPS - this seems to happen a lot. At least this time they brought the box to my house instead of throwing it down at the end of my driveway.(everything was there) This was my last build. I'm not going this stupid again.(maybe) |

Looking forward to seeing your project.
Looks like a 94 or later rear body, with the lip around the wheel well. |

Cool...I didn't ever notice a difference. It has some "interesting" wiring and other things so it wouldn't surprise me if it's several different carts slapped together.

IMG_1420 - Copy.JPG Likely shattered the original fiberglass body, so they just bought another front body. Looking forward to following your build. I'm wrapping mine up now. Hope to do the first road test within a couple days. |

Made some progress. Every bolt on this thing is rusted. Most of them needed a little heat t come loose.

Got the lift finished and new driven clutch. The old one was a little stuck and lost a fight with a hydraulic gear puller.

and because of that picture, I just realized that I put the clutch on backwards!! Sucks because I have to take the spring off to remove it.
