Haha, I kinda liked the look. Just not sure about the ride quality. And wearing out the inside edge of my tires. Lol.

Ahhh...I see.

So I need to get the tie rod back down underneath the axle. I am thinking of going to a setup like this that uses an adapter to convert to the heim style ends. Any thoughts if this would work?

Sunday, I used that kinda setup on a TXT I lifted by home made means.
It worked fine. I ran a rod from the steering shaft to drivers side spindle. Then ties the two front wheels together with a level bar with heims.
Then, I set the distance from center to drivers side to be aligned, and then set distance from right to left to be aligned. (make sense?)

couldn't you just build spacers and raise the rack and pinion to match the raised spindle location?

That's exactly what I'm doing! Thanks for the input man. Should have something together this weekend.

Yeah the rack isn't the issue. I am adding some spacers to raise it up but there is a tie rod that connects both spindles so that when the rack turns one wheel the rod connects to the other. The rod previously ran across right under the axle. When the spindles got raised now the rod won't clear the axle. I'll take some pics later. I'm working on a fix.

Here is where the rod was located previously.

Here is the idea I am playing with. This is just a piece of round tube. I'm going to cut the stick tie rod and slip this over the ends and weld. Dropping it back to the original location.
