reed switch
my powerwise charger has a crows foot plug with only two wires so there is no lead to connect the black wire from the control board to... will this cause problems for the cart or charger... thanx PHJ

Re: reed switch
The reed switch was used in Ezgo. What cart are you asking about? What voltage?

Re: reed switch
the cart is a 36v club car ds and the powerwise charger came with it... the charge was wired directly to the batteries... I needed to replace the control board on the charger and saw the black wire was not connected, hence my question... thanx PHJ

Re: reed switch
The powerwise is an Ezgo charger. It can work with any 36v cart. It requires only a 2 wire connection to charge batteries. The 3rd wire connection was used with the Ezgo to activate an interlock safety feature where the cart would not run with the charger plugged in.... the 36v CC does not have this feature so no need to connect this wire. Hope this helps and welcome to BGW
