Default 1986 Part Identification

I have picked up a 1986 cart and I have it up and running. My question is, what is this part and what is the purpose. Sometimes at full throttle it buzzes and when going up a hill full throttle it buzzes. It is the little black box that has the orange and white wire attached to it. From the wiring diagram it looks to be a reverse buzzer.

Looks like a circuit breaker to me.

I agree. It makes more of a clicking than a speaker sound. It doesn't seem to affect the running of the cart but I don't know what it does. I am sure it is not normal for it to make the sound of a load.

It looks like this is a breaker to keep the cart from running when the charger is plugged in. I have no idea why it makes the noise.

The old reverse buzzers looked like that.
Unplug it, see what happens.

Absolutely the reverse buzzer. Just unplug it, throw it away if you like. The microswitch that controls it has apparently failed, as well as the buzzer itself.
