Default PowerWise Charger Question

I replaced the circuit board in my charger and it works when plugged into the cart. My question is have any of you seen a charger not cut off ?

I put mine on and the needle jumped up to 16-17 amps and then slowly dropped down, after about 3 hours it was at about 1 amp and was still there 45 minutes later. I've been using a borrowed charger and not doing a lot of riding and my state of charge meter is on the top bar. Maybe I'm just not giving it enough time, but I don't want to ruin $600 worth of Batteries. Could I have wired it wrong ?

I've unplugged it for the night just in case and will try it again tomorrow afternoon where I can watch it.

I left the charger on and it finally shut off after I said I'm gonna give it one more hour. I guess the batteries were just lower than I had thought they would be since I had been using my friends PW II charger until I got mine fixed.
I was very concerned because it got down to 1/2 amp or so and just kept humming, didn't want to fry the batt's.

Most of the time, if the batteries are really discharged, it can take as long as 6-8hrs to fully charge

For some reason mine seem to stay on 3 or 4 hours after I think they should have cut off. Right when I start to get really paranoid about toasting the batteries it will cut off........I think it's messin with me.......
