96 Club Car 48v brake/parking brake problems
Over the weekend I went to push brake to stop, and pedal only did half travel. As i pushed hard it popped and sounded like i applied the patking brake, but when i released the pedal, the pedal returned to regular postion. Parking brake works fime, as well do the driving brakes. Its only happens when i push brake pedal past half way to stop while driving. Thanks

Re: 96 Club Car 48v brake/parking brake problems
It's out of adjustment. Slightly tighten the 1/2" nut behind the accelerator return spring underneath the cart. It will bring the accelerator pedal down just enough to keep the parking brake claw from engaging while pushing the brake.
