I'm sure you've already discovered this, but a sponsor here is imaginative manufacturing and they make a 4wd kit for Club Cars, Ez Gos, and Yamahas. Their kit costs 2k, but it includes alot of very impressive stuff:

A dana drive train, independent front suspension, a high torque 14 hp motor, and everything else you'll need to make it a switch on the fly 4wd.

I really wish I had the money to do that to my cart right now, because my old 2wd Ez Go can go almost anywhere on our ranch, I can only imagine what a 4wd would be able to do. Maybe one day They have some very impressive videos on their website if you wanna look them up.

Build it yourself....it's easy.....the premade ones are really really expensive and in many cases are overkill, look at my profile shot....bought this gas cart off a golf course for $1200, shopped EBAY and got a lift kit, light kit, LED tailights, clutch kit, rear seat, ATV tires, stripped and painted it myself.....assembled and whoala!....we love it, it runs on our farm all the time, has already hauled a whitetail and a really big turkey....more to come this fall. I am however putting new rings and valve seals in the motor now....but that is pretty cheap. Still looking for a good gun rack.
