question on front cowl
ok in the pictures of my front cowl you can see that there are two holes for where the bolts would go for the front roof support.
Are their supposed to be nuts in the bar that is underneath the cowl? |

Re: question on front cowl
Im not sure if its a nut or if the bar itself is threaded but theres two bolts you can tighten down and you shouldnt have to run bolts on the bottom. Looking at the way that body is, Im starting to wonder if theres even a bar under there!

Re: question on front cowl
The main frame bar would have threads to accept bolts and collars or a special theaded stud. Not to worry if you threads are shot. Many times I've welded on a "flanged" nut, or in your case...you could "oversize the threads to accept the newer "larger" threaded studs. It works fine if your going to remount a stock top or a half windsheild. Later Dave
