Default Another Extreme Team BMS issue?

I have an Evolution/Endurance Series LiFePo4 48v 100AH Battery Pack on a 2002 Club Car DS. I run an Alltrax SR48500 Controller. I have programmed the controller to max draw 300 amps as the BMS shut down a few times under full 500 amp load.

The issue I'm having is intermittent and very specific. When the battery is full charged and put in reverse to back out of the garage, it works fine. Then when put into Forward, I get a Click from the solonoid but the cart won't move. If I come back after an hour or so, it works fine.

I see a lot of Extreme Team BMS threads, does this sound like that could be the culprit here?

The fact that you hear a click from the solenoid implies that the battery is still supplying voltage. Could be a controller problem.

Or could be a solenoid problem.

Put your VOM across the large solenoid terminals. If you have a resistor on them for controller precharge, you will read less than pack voltage. If no resistor, you will read pack voltage.

Press the throttle with a rear wheel off the ground and see if the voltage drops to zero indicating a closed contact. Do this several times to see if it drops to zero every time.

It sounds like the solenoid contacts are not making good contact every time. If they are burned or misaligned from tightening the terminal nuts without a backup wrench, that could be your problem.
