Default Club car ds won’t run

1998 club car ds. Guy before me said it stopped running so he installed new v glide new solenoid new plum quick motor and new controller. Cart will lurch like it wants to go then immediately loses voltage to controller side of solenoid. It has fifty volts until pedal is pushed then drops to zero. I did the obc lockout bypass from the small post of solenoid to battery negative on controller and it just burns the wire up what am I missing?

I’m by no means an expert but I have the same cart.. you may want to look at your MCOR, and then see about bypassing your onboard brain. I had to do these things because of symptoms similar to yours. Just a thought.?

Also, simple stuff, check pack voltage, check ground wires. Corroded battery terminals are a constant headache for misc.. little **** disturbances in the system.
