Default HELP 2014 Yamaha G29 Lithium conversion

Need a shopping list for my ride. Trojan batteries are dead and it's time to replace.

I bought the XCT-400 already.
Have been looking at AZLithium for Honda Clarity batteries, missed out on a good deal and haven't been any since.

What other batteries are recommended?
What BMS system?

Basically, help me build a great system. Use the cart mostly for riding around the neighborhood (we live in a golf community).

I also have lights/stereo on cart. Do I need a separate batterypack for that? are they all tethered together, or do you need a separate system? I'm a complete noob when it comes to golf carts so any help is GREATLY appreciated.

There does not seem to be many folks on here doing lithium in Yamahas. Not sure why that is... Not knowing the electrical systems in Yamahas, I hesitate to give advice. There are some GCs that seem to have finicky electrical systems and messing around with them can cause serious issues. Hopefully my posting on here will prompt some of the gurus to chime in.

I don't know anything about the Honda Clarity batteries. Most people on here use the Nissan Leaf batteries as they are, from what I have seen, the simplest for a DIYer to work with.

ZEVA BMS is a popular one on here. Bit pricey, but they are good and they have great customer service. Lots of folks on here use them and there is plenty of advice to follow. Chargery is another one, but not as much information on here. There are certainly cheaper options, but I don't know much about them, so someone else will have to advise you on those options.

Not knowing the electrical system for Yamahas, I'll leave that for a guru to answer your questions for accessories.

You can see in my signature everything I have done to my GC.
I hope this helps you get the ball rolling. I'll help where I can, good luck!

If I bought two of these is there a way to run them together for 48V with one BMS?

If I buy the above batteries, what is the best charger for a 12 cell setup?

I didn't wait for replies.

So far:

Fiat batteries 6 cells 24 volts 64AH x2 so 48 V and still 64 AH.
Alltrax XCT400

Now looking at ZEVA BMS with monitor (that will handle 12 cells, right?)
Ian confirmed ZEVA will work with 200A shunt (whatever that means, ha)

Last thing I need is a charger- suggestions?

Also bought a 3” Jake’s spindle lift kit. Already have heavy duty shocks for rear passengers so no need for different kit.

Still waiting to pull the trigger on a 12cell charger. Guy I bought batteries from on eBay recommended a UY-900. I think it needs to be preset to 49.2 volts. But the price is $250.

Can anyone recommend a different charger?

So further research on this forum and emails with Ian at ZEVA, looks like Elcon is the way to go.

So far I have seen the chargers built in to the cart. I wanted to find a way to continue to use the Yamaha plug. Is this possible?

Not sure who all is following this, or cares, but the 24V Fiat batteries fell through. guy on ebay cannot ship, stating:

"This is actually my first time selling these batteries on ebay. My first customer was in michigan so I hand delivered it. But after much talking on the phone with and researching, UPS/Fedex requires certification and training which will involve a 6 month process to be fully able to ship Lithium Ion Batterries. It's because these batteries are beyond the 300 watt hour limit and therefore need to be fully regulated hazmat. "
