I see my thread has been going well without me. Just an update that I just replaced the Trojans with new ones. I got 7 years out of them. I think I paid about $95 each for them back then and the new ones were $155 each installed.

When these need replacing, hopefully at least 7 more years, I will look into the technologies then. The battery place did mention Trojan AGM's for a little more money. I did not ask the money difference, but that may be an option down the road as well.

You are not missing out by skipping the AGM
