Mr Chevy needed his garage back so I moved Suzi back home today. Just gave her battery a quick charge and she fired right up

The Carsandcameras guys took the 670 sled engined kart to the drag strip and Ike ran a 7.35 time in the 1/8 mile right off the trailer. WOW Some other issues did not let them improve on this time. BUT they are making some changes and hope to be in the 6 second bracket next time

I seen today that the carsandcameras 440 cc sled engine is identical to Suzi's. Suzi's is the super deluxe version with an electric starter but otherwise the same engine. Depending on the year the Suzuki had a number of different name plates on it. I see theirs like Suzi's is the ultra easy to tune single carb unit. I was wondering why theirs ran so badly. You see why with all the seals and gaskets in such bad shape which parts of really kill a 2 stroke performance. It will be interesting to see as time goes on how they do. This also gets me motivated to get Suzi going again.
