Another day of 20+ mph winds. I see by the sea hay laying on the road off the island we were flooded in sometime last night. On a Sad note I see Cali Nate died after a crash in small tire event. He was quite a racer
 Things like this are part of the reason I have not taken Vicki to the 6500 rpm red line with the Omega engine. 50 some mph in a golf cart and some goes wrong not something I want to experience |

Today it is another day of 25+ mph winds. I had a half dozen or more c 130's fly low over my house towards Dover AFB. Something is up ?

It was over 70 here yesterday. Yeah had mine at 42 and it started zigging around there is a little play in the front end. Not good on pavement. But I dont run roads anyway and it wont go that fast in the field. We had a lot of wind hope its done with, last week was not nice for that.

FINALLY a low wind warm day. Went down and fired up Vicki. For sitting for a LONG time she fired right up. Took several rides and was surprised how very QUICK she gets up to speed. Just a light touch on the pedal and she is doing 20+ mph. Double checked to see if anything was up with the throttle linkage. It was all OK. Just forgot how easily her Omega engine gets the revs up

Yes if I had the time I'd probably get a billet flywheel and try it. But its running good and other things keep me busy.

This engine probably belongs more in a mini bike or a go kart BUT I bought the billet flywheel when Raceseng was stopping the small engine part of their business and got a great price. Same with all the other race grade parts. Shepard with his Magnum also urged me on. AND a certain amount of naysayers predicting dire results with a billet flywheel in a golf cart. In the end it is a whole lot of fun. The VC 460 long rod is still sitting partially assembled on my dining room table waiting for me to do the end clearances on all 3 shafts and final assembly. The heavily modded VC 460 was really quick and fast BUT the Omega SO MUCH MORE SO
P.S. Really makes you wonder what that Heavily modified Bullfrog 500 would do ? I see Jeremy still has them for sale |
