Most powerful Electric cart
All,
I have had several EZGO RXVs and really enjoyed them. Last summer I bought a new (‘23) EZGO Liberty Elite. That is a 4 forward seat, 56v lithium cart. I hate the cart. It’s very uncomfortable, tight up front and really doesn’t ride very well. It also won’t get up some of our hills with 4 adults on board. We have steep hills, but nothing crazy, I think the steepest is probably 15°. How can my (old fleet) 48v RXVs with a 300# seat added make it those hills with 4 adults on board but the purpose built 4 seat 56V cart not make it up those hills? Now to my question, I am going to sell the cart. I would like to have a 4 forward facing seat cart, but would also entertain a traditional cart with a rear facing seat. I do really like the Umax 2+2. Who makes the best, most powerful Electric cart? Tell me about the Yamaha electric cart offerings. I am going to stay with the “big 3” so my next cart will either be a Club Car or a Yamaha. Thank you! |

Re: Most powerful Electric cart
Before giving up on the Liberty try to get your hands on a handheld and turn on rapid hill climb and adjust the drive limiting settings. Worth a shot.

Re: Most powerful Electric cart
You need the upgraded controller for hills, the standard issue one is weak.

Re: Most powerful Electric cart
I don't know where OP lives, but his local dealer should have ordered the cart with this controller, based on the local terrain and the fact this is a 4 seater with larger wheels.

It’s interesting that no one is able to tell me about pros/cons of the 3 big brands of electric carts. I have the same question posted on the Club Car section with 0 responses. |

Most powerful factory built electric model from the big 3?
Probably this one with 30 horsepower. Front seats look comfy too. https://www.clubcar.com/en-us/person...ectric-vehicle |

Re: Most powerful Electric cart
I have old Ezgos TXTs upgraded controllers, motors, battery that will run circles around most carts going up hill for less than any new cart and they ride good too. But if you want new ....
