Stiffer spring for a mikuni carb

Just put a vm30 on my briggs. I need a stiffer throttle return spring. Anyway to modify the spring or do they make a stiffer one?

Are you talking about the spring for the slide in the carb?

For the returns, I've always used the stock springs in the carb but have used larger springs for the pedal and bell crank. For me the bell crank device was the best upgrade for the mikuni carbs.
