Default Predator 670 carb options

Wanting to see what carb options are out there for the predator 670. Looking at replacing stock carb. Having some issues with the stock one. Idles high and rough. I know the stock carb wasn’t ever meant to be used for a golf cart application. Just trying to see what options are out there and what can be used with minimal modifications to make work. Thanks for any help or advice.

There are kits with motorcycle type carb (Mikuni slide). Not cheap but a Mikuni carb is about as good as it gets as far as adjustability. You should be able to idle at 800 rpm smoothly and have crisp throttle response without hesitation. It will take some tuning, so I recommend reading and watching videos to learn how, it's not difficult. Another benefit is off road operation is much better. Space is really the only concern, engine compartment needs a little room to fit the carb and air filter, but usually not much of a problem.

I have also seen some "reworked" stock style carbs with better jetting and adjustability. I have had one version on a Briggs engine, mounting bolts are identical. I actually used a 670 adapter to mount the carb.

IMO, the Mikuni would be the better carb.
