Will a club car 48v charger work on a yamaha g29 48v
My charger died. I've a friend with a 48v club cart and would like to borrow his charger until our new one arrives.
They have a 48v club car precedent. They said it has 3 prongs. We have a 48v yamaha. Our old charger had 3 prongs. |

It depends on what year club car the charger is. 2014 would work but you would have to change the plug.

The plugs are not the same. What charger do they have for their club car? Some club car chargers only work on club cars.

Since I couldn’t cut my buddy’s club car charger up, my wife went a couple towns away and bought an admiral charger for Yamaha. It has the older style two prong but works fine.

Yes - the older style Yamaha plug works with the newer plug. I have one of each. I removed the cord from one of my Yamaha chargers to use it with my Lithium charger. My two carts share one Lithium charger since I only have one of them. My backup Lithium charger is the charger for my Ebike. It can do 5 amps where as my cart charger does 18 amps but the voltages are the same.
