Default ClubCar Carryall 1200 Motor swap

Hello
So I picked up a 2004 Club Car Carryall 1200 I/R Pioneer utility golf cart with the dump bed. Motor that was in it was the Kawasaki 400. Motor had a hole in the case so i went and got a Predator420 motor to replace it. Questions i have are.

* Has any one ever done this kind of motor swap in this similar situation

* Can i install that predator motor on the original motor support that held the Kawasaki 400 motor?

* Will the Clutches line up

* What is the right rotation I need for this set up. Motor I got has a counter clock wise rotation

This engine swap is not a bolt in project, unless you are able to obtain a swap kit. If you are able to find a swap kit, it will have an engine mount, drive clutch, wiring, key switch, and directions.

If no kit, you will need to do all of that on your own. Fabricating and wiring skills will be needed.

Your Kaw drive clutch will not work. The crankshaft on the new engine is 1" straight. The Kaw is a tapered crank

The new engine runs in CCW direction. If your Kaw engine ran the same direction then you'll be ok. If the Kaw was a CW spin direction, you'll actually run in reverse to go forward and your speed will be reduced. I'm not familiar with Club Car so I can't answer that question

I'm not aware of any other direct bolt in engines. You could post in the Parts section, see if anyone has a used engine?

Well time to get get things started. All body pieces and fenders removed. Cleaned off frame with pressure washer getting her ready for 420 Predator motor and paint.

Have a question for the BGW crew.
Been looking on you tube for anyone who re did Carryall, Pioneer with a predator motor and have not found any videos at all. I can see DS and others but it looks like they have a different rear end. Does anyone on here know of any videos any or pics showing a carry all or pioneer cart with a Predator 420 build. I want to see how they mounted Motor thanks.

What amp charging system does the Predator 420cc have?

Is a 20cc increase worth it over the stock 400cc?

Is the Predator 459cc an option?

16hp Briggs?
