Re: Will this battery work?
Some do not have over current protection as shown by solar Will YouTube. I think it was a litime unit...

Re: Will this battery work?
I have several of the LiTime batteries in use for various purposes on my boat and 2 golf carts. Both carts are lifted with rear beds and are used mainly off-road, and both are PDS carts. One has the 36 volt 60 amp battery, and I was concerned about it having enough power to avoid tripping the BMS. I've put it on my steepest hills and it's handled everything. The other is the 48 volt 100 amp battery, and it turned the cart into a 30 mph beast that feels like it could climb a tree.
Both batteries may fail prematurely, but I have no issues with power. If they do fail, I think their customer service will deal with it. Good luck picking the right battery. |

Re: Will this battery work?
I'm going to try the LiTime 60ah battery for my rig. After watching some YouTube vidoes, I think it will perform fine for me for the occasional use my cart see's. One guy (cant recall who) did a long range test on a single 60ah and averaged about 26-27 mph in his cart with the same Navitas 600/5 AC setup, and got almost 16 miles out of it. I can always throw another 60ah in if I want more range. For the price, I can't beat it.

Re: Will this battery work?
Must of been some pretty flat ground or he had the amp draw capped in the navitas app because I would not think a single 60ah with AC would work well.

Re: Will this battery work?
Or the over current protection was non-existent

Re: Will this battery work?
Got the battery Saturday. Installed yesterday. Haven't done any real testing aside from a trip to the mail box down the road. So far so good. I'll let you all know my results. I capped the battery draw to max of 150 amps for now.
