2000 club car Ds /wide open throttle at start
i just bought a 2000 club car Ds, 48 volt, installed new batteries,will spin tires at start,no stepped acceleration,just wide open,plug charger in ,clicks but meter don't move,need help

also my 2000 DS does not have a tow-run switch, should it or has someone taken it off

Series carts do not have the run/tow switch. Open the V-glide and see if the contacts are clean or pitted.
Test the throttle signal at the controller. remove the 2 wires from the V glide (pin #2 and 3) and plug the ohm Ω meter into them. Signal should read 5000 - 0 as you press the gas. If the signal is reversed some one has improperly modified your cart. Another possibility is you have the wrong throttle input in the control... |

can you use a 6 pin obc in place of a 3 pin and if so how,on a 2000 48 volt DS

i know,but it wont charge and the charger is ok,tested on another cart
