R6 Golf Cart Build - Lifted, & Rear Wheel Drive!
It all started when I got a free messed up piece-of-crap yamaha golf cart. I picked it up and realized that I wouldn't be able to throw in the r6 engine in there... It's just not worth it. So I decided to build my own frame and weld everything together myself... and here's the best part... it's going to have a golf cart body on it and because it's my own frame, it will probably have to be a custom body that I will make on my own. Anyway, here are some pictures of the build so far. I will keep you all updated and posted. If I have any questions, I'll also post them here.

More pictures... the black circle was to drill the wheels from a honda 110mm x 4 bolt pattern to a yamaha bolt pattern 115mm x 4. It's the bottom of a bucket.

Im watching what your posting, waiting for more progress. The parts look like nice parts, but the real excitement will come when it starts to turn into a cart. If I can help, I will, but just ask when you want advice on something and keep the pictures and updates coming, and people will get excited the more they have to look at.

Thanks everybody!
Looking into swapping out the rear axle with this one: http://bit.ly/S0z3GA And the rear hubs with these: http://amzn.to/R5hnID What do you guys think? Together it will give me an extra 7 inches in stance for the rear. I don't want to flip. The front is plenty wide. |

Cool...the hubs are made with an offset like having a spacer but built in. I like.
