Default engine tilted to far from lift kit

we just mounted a 7in lift kit with 22 or 23 inch tires and the engine sits at a steep angle. is there a way to fix that or should we leave it like that. we had a couple ideas on how it fix it. any ideas are good.

Modify the front swingarm mount to level it out. In otherwords, build one that will allow the front of the swingarm to drop.

You could get something like a rear shackle kit (like the one's used to lift a truck, rear leaf springs) and use them to lower the swingarms in the front: if it is setup like a G2/G9.

Yes, thanks for the correction. I was multitasking again or trying too anyway.

I want to make sure we are all on the same page here. I zipped through this at first. Oops. On a G16, the swingarm (u shaped part the engine sits on) is mounted to the cart frame in the front middle. I've seen where some have modified or built their own drop mount (added an extension or something) that will allow this to drop (kind of like a drop trailor hitch if you know what that looks like). The kit that Ron got for his G9 came with some shackles that allowed him to drop his swingarm in the front (like the shackle kit I described above) *different model and different setup. Whatever you do, just make sure it is safe. I don't like how Yamaha went to the single/middle swingarm mount on the G16's. Makes the cart more unstable the higher the lift in my opinion.

Check this thread out. I built the shackle style...then upgraded to a stronger setup. >>http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...me-repair.html
