3 laws. fuel, spark, compression. if you have spark and fuel. you need to check your compression. is this a 2 stroke or 4?

Re: 1992 par car no start
id start with the simple things. check your compression, reeds, and check for air leaks on the motor. (spray starting fluid around all gaskets while cranking). two strokes are very susceptible to air leaks
what color is your spark? take the bowl off your carb and make sure its clean What were you doing when it happened. How long were you driving it. |

Re: 1992 par car no start
anything over 100 should run. "should" 2 strokes should be slightly higher. 130-160 is a good area. it concerns me that you say it turns over slowly. put a jump pack or battery charger on it while you crank it. when you pull the plug out is it wet?

Not good, Your cart is probably flooding. Check your carb for float operation. Your compression on that cart should run around 90 PSI.

Re: 1992 par car no start
You will never get it. I have rebuilt several and after the engine is worn in and max compression has been achieved it is approximately 90 PSI. If you expect more than that you will have to get a high compression engine of some other type.
