Default CVTech Clutch

Well, I just recieved my cvtech 6 from ccp, and thought I would post my opinion. It showed up 1/27/10 and wife called me at work and told me it's here. I was like a little kid because it had been on back order for a little while. Today before work I couldn't wait 26 degrees out, but I got her on. All I can say is WOW! What a difference. I had been useing my stock ezgo clutch that had been machined to fit the 1" shaft[no comparison]. This clutch is awsome. Made such a difference. Takking off is very smooth yet solid and percise. Going up hills made a really big difference. The cart didn't slow down near as much and the engine stayed in its rpm range with no slipping of the belt. Now I know I only have a 16 hp vanny but this clutch really [did i say really] takes advantage of all the power the little 16 can make. The only gripe I kinda have is the key way was a little shallow. I had to file my key stock down by about 1/16 to get the clutch to slide on. Really not that big of deal, just a heads up that maybe 1/4 inch keystock might be to thick. All in all CVTech, Tom and Ruredy get 2 thumbs up!

The price is good too! Don't forget...there all kinds of tuning options available. You can take some of the disks out the pucks and make the weights lighter and it will rev higher before engagement.
