Default 2013 Precedent Cutting Out/Jerking

So I have a Alltrax XCT500 controller, 400 solenoid, Admiral A2 motor, and a 2g cable set. I had a similar issue a while back and replaced the MCOR, that helped but now it has similar symptoms. When I back up slowly, the cart will cut out and if I continue to depress the throttle it will jerk and buck. If I mash it all the way it wii buck like hell and spin the tires. Batteries are less than a year old and I have over 50v after a full charge. The speed sensor slows the cart and beeps when rolling on a hill as it should. When I disconnect the speed sensor it takes off in reverse as it should without cutting out or jerking. I did jack the rear and placed it in reverse, seems like it’s attempting to brake then release then brake and so on. Forward doesn’t seem as bad.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What are your settings for "Speed Limit" and "Max Reverse Motor Speed"?

40% on the max reverse speed and 6000 on the max speed limit

Is there a good way to be certain? I think they are around 50 bucks and the one I have has 27 hours on it and is less than a year old.

Speed sensor. Had the same problem with mine at low speed. Be sure to use the blue (removable) locktite on the bolt that secured the magnet to the shaft.

My replacement was covered under a two year warranty (?) I think. Check with your supplier.

Bad speed sensor. This can be confirmed by un-checking the "enable speed limit" box in your Alltrax Toolkit software and operating the car. This will prohibit your Alltrax from monitoring motor speed through the speed sensor circuit. It will totally ignore it. Performance will not be as great as if the speed sensor was hooked up and working correctly, but this is an excellent way to test the speed sensor for problems. Once you've done this, drive it. If the problem is gone, that will confirm that your sensor is causing the issues. Contact whoever sold you your Admiral motor and have them file a warranty claim on the speed sensor through RedHawk. The Admiral motor (and all attached components) carry a 1 year warranty. If it was me, let me know. Sometimes it's hard to separate customer names from BGW User Names. I'd be glad to file a claim for you.
