Default fuses

Ive found the fuse is blown in the yellow wire going to the solenoid from the OBC. can that be replaced with an inline mini fuse?

If I'm not mistaken, that is a 3/8 amp fuse.
Not everyone carries glass fuses in that low an amperage.

wow that's small. Ive been reading the sticky about bypassing the OBC but do you need a different charger if you do that? So I held the wires together after cutting out the fuse and the cart worked. I followed the service manual diagnostic procedures because the cart wouldn't go and had no solenoid clicking and it never said anything about those 3 inline fuses.

Your CC charger will work if you bypass the OBC, BUT, it will not turn off!
You would need to "babysit" the charge cycle and not allow it to overchharge.

Ouch! And they do have them, or at least the ones here do. Had to order them, but they were in the next day. A five (5) pack was ~$7.

In some Series carts the OBC provides the negative to the Solenoid using a yellow wire, but there is no fuse.

If someone added a fuse, it needs to carry the Solenoid coil current, so I would say 3 amp fuse.

Some older OBCs had a fuse in the OBC Red wire, but it was at least a 5 amp.

The OBC has a 3/8 amp fuse in the gray sense wire inside the yellow fuse holder near the charger socket.
