Default A arm lift or spindle

Hey guys, what do you think? Drop spindle lift or a arm? Pros/cons? I am thinking 22 inch wheels and 12" rims either way. Can't wait to go up!

I could answer this better if I can find the time to install my A-arm lift. Almost 3 months now and still sitting in boxes.

Although I have no real thoughts as I've not used either, from what I've read posted numerous times here, I'd go with the A-arm lift if it were my decision too make. I think you would like the ride much better with it than the spindle lift. But, as said, no experience with either just my 02 cents.

The decision is a hard one. I don't do a whole lot of trail riding with my cart but I have intentions of hitting the trails more. I don't mind the ride I get now with it but definitely think I need to go up with it...especially now that my neighbour bought a non lifted Ezgo! Lol! I know I will appreciate the higher top end with some 22" tires under it as well. Maybe it all gets down to price??? Local prices are about 350$ For an A arm kit (or is it EH Arm kit here lol) and about $200 for a spindle lift. Rose88! What are you waiting for?!?

unless you have replaced your front spring and bushings lately you def want to go with the a arm lift , Most club cars are wiped out in the front end parts department by the time we get our hands on them and that kit replaces most of the parts , you will want to invest in some new shocks though for the front also . if you look around here you will also find that some guys buy the kit and replace the center spring where with end links connect with their old spring cut down to fit for a little stiffer ride since the spring that comes with them can be a little soft. and as far as the spindle lift goes, dont bother for trail riding its useless because all your doing is moving the wheels not increasing suspension travel. spend the extra bucks to be comfortable and safe

My .02?

My Lynx came with a 4" Z lift, but of coarse... it wasn't enough for me!
I added a Jake's 3" spindle lift and the height of my cart was perfect!
My cart originally was just a "campground cruiser", THEN... I found out how much fun it was to go off road!
I then started to beat the cr*p out of my cart, and my Jake's 3" spindles held right up with my abuse for the last 4 years!
(anything cheaper then a Jake's spindle lift... I wouldn't dare!)

With that being said, the problem I have with a spindle lift is... with even the slightest amount of off roading,
there is almost no articulation with the stock CC front end, and it proves to be a "bone jarring" ride!

Now that I'm out of the campground, I'm planning on doing more "cart rides",
(and want to keep up with those that can go places that I also want to go),
I bought a Madjax 3 1/2" A-arm lift to replace the spindle lift! (no offense Jake's!)
and I... (like rose88 ) have had it sitting in the box for 3 months, waiting for it to be installed! (it's COLD in Wisconsin!)

A Jake's spindle lift is a good lift! but if you plan on "playing" a bit harder then just cruising in the future... an A-Arm lift is the way to go!

I debated this for a while. I went spindle lift (Jakes). Got the 6" spindle lift installed last night, put the 22x11-10 tires on and took it down the pipeline. I went for broke to test its capabilities. Only got stuck once trying to cross a creek (nasty). Did not feel that the Jakes spindle was a weak link at all.

Ride seems better than stock. But I also replaced all the bushings front and rear. Don't forget there are also upper rear spring shackle bushings too. Fortunately I ordered too many bushings and had enough. Every place that was supposed to have a bushing was just a bolt on my cart.
