Default Ezgo vangaurd 18

Here is my ezgo txt I'm gonna swap the vangaurd 18 generator engine into. apparently the generator engine dobt use a mechanical governor at all.which is cool.
Not sure if the limiter can be retained in anyway. But its electronic.ive gotta get a used crank or figure out the taper part.
Generator was also dual fuel.propane or gasoline.

I am not wanting to lift the cart so if someone has any advice on the best way to keep from doing that I'm all ears.

Well I will have to lift the cart.no way around it really.
I got the starter generator mounted to the engine. I also made a motor plate to sit on the rails. Coming along slowly.

You might be better off finding a whole used gas engine. You'll need a crank, but you'll also need the carb, intake, air filter, etc from a gas engine. I'm not sure, but I thing a 14, 16hp crank is the same?

He has a dual fuel engine. It can run either including gasoline just as it is.

The propane adapter is before the carburetor under the air filter. Most likely can be removed without any problems or new parts.

Yes it is dual fuel which is kinda cool.
Here are,all the pieces I already removed.

What the opinions on welding the crankshaft just to build up the end which is only about an inch. Then have it machine to 1"

So I did some more work today. I really dont wanna lift the cart. Therfore I redid the main cradle supports to drop them 4". I now have about 2-3" ground clearance.i hope to put the tallest tire to fit with no lift to help raise it just a little.

Ah, dual fuel. So the carb will work for gas. That's cool.
