Default How to get better battery life

I’ve had my Kangacruz Aspire SS (36v version) for about 1.5 years now. The Aspire is the mini and collapsible cart. As you can imagine, there is not a lot of information about it on the web. But I’m thinking my question is really a general golf cart question.
I currently get about 6-8 hours out of a full charge. Honestly, I probably only get 4-5 hours of usable time from a full charge as after that, the cart is very slow and can’t make it over a speed bump.
It currently has generic (from the factory) 3 x 12v 80 AH sealed, maintenance free batteries
Can I get a better battery performance out of better batteries? I’m not looking for more power, just longer life. What batteries should I look at?
