EZGO Freedom PDS
Hello,
I have an EZGO Freedom PDS 36V That has stopped when the pedal is pressed. All lights, Horn, and electric fuel guage is working. I have checked the voltage on the batteries and they are at full output. The reverse warning signal, and diagnostic beeps are NOT working. I changed out the FNR Rocker switch with no luck. Have not located any loose, or faulty wiring. Any Ideas?? |

Pull driver side floor board up and check micro switch in pedal box under the mat.

Re: EZGO Freedom PDS
Just so we know. You have it in Run right? All the cables are hooked up? No fuse is blown? All the easy stuff is right.

Re: EZGO Freedom PDS
Correct. No easy stuff, solid cables, and full output from the batteries.

Re: EZGO Freedom PDS
You say you aren't getting any signal of it going to dignostic mode correct? The R/T switch is working I assume because if it's faulty then it's not going to run or do the dignostic's. I think it's time to say it's the controller then. Have you been putting a lot of load on it. Check the reed switch inside the charger plug on the cart take the 3 screw out and see if wire is burnt into or broke.

Re: EZGO Freedom PDS
That was my fear. I have not put any heavy loads on it at all. I'll check the item above and let you know. Thanks for all the comments!

Re: EZGO Freedom PDS
checked the wiring inside the charging box. No issues there. guessing now the controller, or motor.
