Re: 1st Cart project
While waiting for the clear coat to dry and new rivets and Xmas trees to come I started looking at the electrical. New Alltrax 500 amp and 400 a solenoid on the way from Scotty B and acting for plum quick to ship back my bandit.>

Re: 1st Cart project
Great project! Check out my 99 rehab posted just below yours....nice color choice lol.
I can’t tell from your pictures, are you staying 36v or going 48v? I went 48v. I’m currently in motor option overload right now. Planning on running my current one for a while and either going plumquick bandit, custom, or AMD 7124 but really don’t know yet. Please follow up once you get you PQ motor back and give a review. |

Re: 1st Cart project
Greg,
Gonna stay at 36 for now. Controller, solenoid and wires can all be used on 48 in the future. Did the bandit upgrade with Plum Quick because it is a cheaper alternative to a high performance 36v. When these batteries go I plan to switch to lithium 48v and a 48v motor. I will definitely let you know how the bandit is once it’s back in the cart, I’ll do a full rundown of all of the performance items. And my blue was Krylon Fusion Patriotic Blue with a 2k clear over it. |

Re: 1st Cart project
That blue color looks sharp! I'm doing a similar project on a 2005 txt series cart minus the plum quick and alltrax upgrades. I'm going with a little bit darker blue metallic. Replaced rear springs with HD. Once I can post pictures I'll have to make post.

Re: 1st Cart project
Thanks, the blue is my first attempt at painting with a rattle can. Krylon fusion Patriotic Blue and then a couple of outs of 2k clear. Still have some polishing to do to get some of the orange peel but overall I’m happy with it. Almost at the finish line now.
