Default Hyundai vin serial location

Picked up a Hyundai cart today.
Has layers of paint on it.
I can not find the vin.
I want to get it legal before i spend the money putting in a new engine.
Can anyone tell me exactly where to find the serial number?
Was it stamped into the frame? On a metal plate?
Or worst of all on a sticker?
If i know where to look i can strip the paint gently and hopefully show it to dmv.
Thanks

I don't know anything about a Hyundai, but a search brings up this page.

Thanks I saw that but it does not give a side or exact spot.
A lot of frame in the seat cowl area.
So much paint in it I can not find it.
Guess ill have to sand blast it to find it.
Second issue is i have to remove most of the electrics since most are mounted there as well.

I would think the vin would be in a location that is visible with everything mounted. Maybe that will narrow down the location. Not sure.

I know its an old post but reply with a question in the link I posted above. Maybe that guy will get notified via email and answer. It seems he knows quite a bit about it.

After spraying everything down with paint remover and a wash,
Found it!!!

Mounted on a plate dead center of the seat on the Top of the engine compartment under the cowling!
Not down on the lower main frame!
Apx 6 inches back from the back edge. Almost to the back rest mounts.
You have to put your head in the engine compartment and look to the rear up high to see it.

Many States have legalized the use of golf carts on secondary roads with speed limit signs of less than 35 mph. No VIN or license plate is required, but the cart must be driven by a State licensed driver over the age of 18. Here in NC, I have driven my 1987 4 wheel Cushman Truckster on the back roads all over this area and have never been stopped. The 3 wheel version is considered a motorcycle and must have a VIN number, license plate, and insurance. The 4 wheel version like mine has no VN number and cannot be licensed. The police follow me for a ways, then pass me and wave. I do have flashing yellow lights, headlights, signal lights, mirrors, brake lights, and seat belts, and a "slow moving vehicle" sign on the back, but I have never even had a patrolman look closely at my Truckster. Although a little too heavy to really be classed with golf carts, it's never been questioned. Read up on the motor vehicle laws for your State to see what is needed for your golf cart or Truckster to make it road legal.
