Default Need some basic info

I am going to pick up my first golf cart for a winter project. It is a 1983 EZ-Go model GX 440-5. Can anyone tell me if it will fit between the fender wells of a full size pick up or will I need a trailer? It is 4ft wide between my truck bed fenders.
How many batteries does it require? I was given 4 Trojan 6 volt batteries in good condition. They were in a pallet truck previously.

Well, I would get a 5' by 9' trailer to be safe. Also, the cart will need SIX (6) batteries, what is the date code on the batteries? (it is stamped on one of the terminals).

I put mine in the back of a 93 Ford f150. It was a little hairy going up the ramps.

It will fit in a full size pickup. As for ramps ... if you can back up to a slope it will minimize the 'hairy' factor when loading.
