Too Much Used 350cc ezgo motors are $6-700.00 It is a candidate for a big block if you can buy it right.... Big V twin = 18-$2400

Depending on the year and if the motor is 100% there (not stripped or removed) it would be a good project. You should be able to get a used or rebuilt motor for $500.-1200.
There are several models. If this has the steel dump bed and the longer wheelbase it's a keeper. I don't know what year the workhorse started, mine is a 99. It's a great cart and has lots of aftermarket goodies available. Just about any model 1200 workhorse (running) is worth $2000 or more.

i finally spoke to the guy today.
it is a 1200g with mfg code f102
serial number is 1490021 which i think makes it a 2002 model,

he says it was at a tree farm locally and the workers ran it without oil and seized the motor. he has the rear end up on blocks because he took the rear axle and motor out to look at it.

A 2002 is definately worth 1k if the body hasn't been abused to bad. Get the old engine because you will need it for a core charge.

thanks guys...i am kind of bummed out now... i thought i had a lead on a 2005 st350 in great shape. went to see it saturday (even in the rain) and right before i got there, the guy texted me and said it was not going to be for sale due to a divorce)

so now i have to go back to the drawing board and look some more.
i am not in a hurry and have a budget of $3500 to do this.

i have found another st350 (2004) in pretty good shape other than 1700 hrs on it, but he wants $3300 for it. that seems high for that many hours
i could also buy this 2002 1200g from this thread and put a new motor in it and a lift kit. it looks like it has a lift of some kind, but probably not what i want.
not sure i need a big block, but not opposed to it.

i appreciate all the help... i will eventually own a cart, so i can be a full fledged member... right now i am more of a faux buggies gone wild member...
