Default 1981 MGIV electric replacement solenoids

I recently picked up this vehicle and was told it just need batteries and that it had a burnt 12 volt solenoid. The part currently on there is a White Rodgers 71-111224-3.

When I attempted to a buy a new one from Buggies Unlimited I thought I had the correct replacement with ...
Columbia / Harley Davidson 12 Volt 4-Terminal Solenoid (Fits 1979-1994)
Item #:SLN ML 1111 12V
12-volt, 4 terminal solenoid #70 series with copper contacts.
Fits Columbia/Harley Davidson models. Replaces OEM Number(s): 71470-87

However when I contacted them to confirm customer service told me "All of our 48 volt solenoids will work .The solenoid you had is incorrect that is why it broke. If this cart is electric you need to choose for the 48 volt ones...this is what you need..."
48-volt 4-terminal Silver Solenoid: Item #:1148
48-volt, 4 terminal, #124 series solenoid with silver contacts
Heavy duty 100 amp continuous, 400 amp inrush
Fits Nordskog Only!
Replaces OEM Number(s): 75154

OR

48-Volt Solenoid (Select Models)
Availability: In Stock
Item #:1168
Club Car electric 1995-99
E-Z-GO Electric 48-volt
Yamaha electric 1995-up G19/G22
Replaces OEM Number(s):Club Car: 1018836-01, E-Z-GO: 73231-G01, Yamaha: JR1-H1950-00

Why are they telling me to get 48V solenoids for 36V vehicle? Why are they telling me to get solenoids which say specifically "Fits Nordskog Only!" and not the one they have listed for my vehicle?

I sent another email trying clarify if this was some kind of modern upgrade that is recommended over the OEM part but after several days still have not received any response.

I'm guessing someone here knows a whole lot more about this than their customer service rep.
THANKS

You want 36v solenoids for your cart. Vintage Golf Cart Parts may carry the solenoids for these old things.
