How to loosen the castle nut on the steering ball joint - 97 TXT
Sorry for the noob question but is the first time I try to take this apart
The steering riser from my lift kit broke, I have yet to order a new one. But today I started taking it apart so is easier when the new one comes. (and I was bored :) Here is the problem, I removed the cotter pin but cannot unscrew the the castle nut, the whole thing just spins and I have to idea where to "grab" it from so I can remove the nut.. Now the pics.. From the Diagram I'm trying to separate The tie rod #7 and the Castle nut #10 The second one is the pic of the my cart, you can see how the steering riser got broken and that is the piece I want to separate, but when I want to remove the castle nut the whole thing turns Cart is an EzGo TXT 97 Lift Kit is unknown drop axle (looks like a Jacks's Lift) |
