Re: 2000 club car in bad shape
Thanks 4 the advice. I have the cash in hand to get the new batts but I was trying see if I had other issues before investing 600 in batterys. Is that possible or is my next step just getting the batterys.
Again thanks to every 1 for the help so far. |

Re: 2000 club car in bad shape
It is my second set in these old carts ..... First is to remove the old batteries, pressure wash the inside and out and evaluate the cart. Tehn make battery tray repairs and install new batteries and NEW CABLES

Re: 2000 club car in bad shape
alright guys i put the new batts and cables in and the charger came on just like it supposed to. this morning i unpluged it and i have 51 volts. BUT the cart wont move so i jumped out the only silinod i have and it moved so i tried to bolt the jumper wire to it so i could test drive it and know it sparks when i put the jumper wire across the solinod. does this still simply mean i need a new 1 or is there another problem.
Ps where can i buy this silinod |

Re: 2000 club car in bad shape
MAke sure you get the same one. Has it got a red dot on it near one of the terminals? That means it has an internal resistor .... Always put the RUN/TOW switch in tow before you do any electrical work on the cart. THis will safeguard the controller
