Default Electrical Problem??

I have a 89 Marathon with 10 month old batteries, it is a controller cart. The last couple times out to the course it has been cutting out on me, for example while driving if I let off the pedal and coast for a few seconds then get back into the pedal it won't take back off, I'll have to pump the pedal 2 or 3 times to get it to reconnect.

Or from a dead stop I'll give it gas and nothing will happen, so I'll have to pump it the pedal 2 or 3 times before it will finally connect and take off.

This issue just started the last time I was golfing and has become more frequent.

I'm pretty sure the wiring is done correctly because I've been driving it for the last 10 months with no issues.

If anyone has any suggestions as to what this issue may be I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks

A failing battery/motor cable could cause this also. Is there ANY corrosion present?

There is no corrosion on the batteries, they replaced the batteries cables when they replaced the batteries, and they still look just fine. I haven't taken a look at the motor connections yet to see if they are loose.
