Default What makes it (EZ) Go

Ok let the laughs and comments fly,
Obviously the motor makes it go. I have a '95 CC and I can follow the power batteries ,V glide,F&R switch, key, Solenoid, resistors etc. In a '13 TXT does the controler do all of it. I guess what I am asking if I wanted to replace everything that makes the cart go what would I have to replace, just the motor and controler or are there more parts hidden in the bowels of the machine. I found a 2008 36V Txt cart I like but it needs batteries and was wondering if it is cost effective to upgrade to 48V since I would have to replace the batteries (9 years old) or just keep looking for a 48V cart. Also what about bushings and such for a smooth ride considering I will be putting a 2" lift(leveling kit) or maybe a 3" spindle lift. I know questions are very basic but I like to have all my info before I start a project. I am not looking for a $40,000 cart to run around the neighborhood just a nice cart that is reliable. What I want to have when finished is:

Cart that does 20-23 with 3 or 4 people
Radio not sure if just blue tooth or actual radio
Turn signals and lights (probably LED)
Seat belts
Horn
14" rims
USB charger
Cool color LED lights under cart and or under dash
Extended Top
Maybe a 12 volt connector on roof for Christmas lights and such

Thanks
Adam

The new Ezgo TXT48 will do everything you want from a cart with the new XCT400 control installed.

When you say new I assume you mean a 2017. Or will a 2013-2014 TXT have that.

Thanks

No not brand new.
Mine is 2010 (first yr model) and zips around the neighborhood at 23-24 mph on stock tires. Plus you can't tell a 2010 from a 2015 by looking at them.

Around 2014 EZGo made changes to the txt body but the electronics are still the same and a very good cart. Once I kill my stock controller an XCT will replace it.
