I pulled a dummy
I was excited to get my new clone in I rushed things. I coiled up the choke cord and I think I fried my starter(original) by grounding it out on the positive post. Small noise lots of smoke and a fried ground wire. I didn't notice that Corrol Stream had an electric start add on. Does anyone know of a good place to gt a starter add on for their 16hp?

Re: I pulled a dummy
Try it and see if it works, you might have just shorted the cables. If you shorted the starter it would just make the starter go and would not fry a cable.

Re: I pulled a dummy
Ive fried like 10 of them in the last couple months...its probably just the starter solenoid. Unfortunately I dont have replacements in stock but you can check your nearest AutoZone or Oreilly parts store. Oreilly usually has a heavier duty starter solenoid that wont fry soo easily.
