Default 12-48v instamatic light kit and blown fuses

Installed the flexvolt light kit on my 03 club car ds that now has just one Ocell 48v, 40ah lithium battery. Have blown 2 15amp fuses on the light kit. Any ideas what may be causing this issue?

Ok so, I ended up disconnecting wires from a resistor in the dash located below the key switch. Wired everything back up pull light switch all the lights come on, horn, signals work. I go to press brake and pop the brake time relay 3 prong piece blows. The new 15 amp fuse on harness did not this time however. I know my connections were right, do you think the timer delay may have been faulty out of the box? The brake light system is the mechanical switch that mounts underneath cart.

I've never used the Club Car branded "FlexVolt" kit, but I know most of the LED lights themselves are ok from 12 to 48 volts EXCEPT for some of the add on items like horn & probably those timers for the brake lights. Is the timer marked in any way for that 48 volts?

So just to make sure I am understanding you correctly the kit you got is a light kit designed for 48v and you are not running a reducer?

Yes purchased the instamatic 12v-48v flexvolt light kit. The brake timer delay is part of the kit and had 48v labeled right in the middle of it.
