'93 marathon..... Questions
Hey guys, I have a gasser and know little about electric carts but there is one locally for sale for $200. It's in decent shape and already has lights and a flip seat kit. It has NO batteries or charger. It is a '93.
So..... Batteries: $500-800? Charger: $400? Am I close? Also, is this a series cart or newer regen system? Seems like it could have it on the road for about $1500 as long as nothing else is wrong with it. Thanks for any help!! |

Re: '93 marathon..... Questions
as far as the price of the batteries, you are in the ballpark. for the charger, you can get a great brand new DPI charger from ScottyB for $285
http://www.cartsunlimited.net/48v_Battery_Charger.html as far as what kind, series or sepex, you tell us.....does it have a RUN/TOW switch on the controller cover? or not........ where is the F/R switch, is it on the dash, or by our knee? |

Best I can tell from the photos it has the f/r lever by your legs. Haven't seen it in person yet. Does that help?
Sorry for the lack of info. Just trying to learn what I can before driving out to see it. |

Thanks CTD,
which version would be better for future upgrades? Any advantages/disadvantages? Seems like at $200 for a nice clean body I can't go to far wrong. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Re: '93 marathon..... Questions
one good thing is the motor works with 48 volts ..if you do go the 48v upgrade you need a hd f/r controller and upgrade the cables to 2 gauge for better performance
