dylan, I can't really see in the picture but it looks like you have a short section of throttle cable coming from the engine to a "D" shaped pivot that the cable wraps around but what moves the pivot?

well... humm. not sure whats its called but i think its a controller but when you press on petal down on the electric carts a thing twist and it moves this piece of copper to different circles of copper which i think is making it go faster. on the middle pic on my second post ... well you cant really see it.... humm

My cart was originally an electric cart and it has an aftermarket throttle cable hooked to the gas pedal linkage underneath the cart and just runs back to the carb. It is fastened down at one point near the gas pedal to keep it from flexing. It looks pretty simple. Not sure if that would work on yours or not.

here is one of the engine end of the cable. You can see where it comes up and hooks to the original engine throttle handle. I decided to leave it to help with cold starts so I don't have to reach down and press the gas pedal with my hand while it warms up. I'll have to get a shot of the underside. I don't have one on my computer right now.
