Default Caroche help

Hi all,
I have a problem with my Caroche. Not sure of the year. It has three pedals and five solenoids. The cart has been sitting for 8 months or so. Everything worked when it was last used. Topped off the batteries and put it on charge. After about an hour the cart started to smoke the insulation on the brake lines. Also now the f/r switch arcs terribly. I've checked the micro switch at the peddle and the f/r switch and both are working correctly. So I changed the solenoid and it is working correctly. This arcing happens with the key on or off and when in forward or reverse. Neutral is okay. I'm thinking the f/r switch is fried internally and is somehow grounding out the cart. By the way there are 8 lugs on the f/r switch. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Some thing is very wrong with your battery pack cables and or connections? Sounds like you some how have a poor ground causing motor and differential housing to be hot and heating up the brake lines seeking pack ground? Check all battery cables and connections and then check each brake line for contacts to battery cables?
