Re: club car precedent
Any Precedent light kit I have installed, you have to run and hook-up the power wire to the battery which is in the forward passenger side position. There should be a pigtail coming off the battery cable, you hook the usually BLUE wire with the fuse holder in it, into this pigtail, and then secure the fuse in the battery compartment. Did you hook up this power feed wire with the fuse?? Is there a fuse in the fuse holder...never assume anything

Re: club car precedent
per instructions:
Step 2 locate the blue wire coming off #4 batt positive connect that lead to the long lead of the fuse assembly (i did) Step 3 locate the single 12 gauge wire with a spade terminal coming from the passenger side of the elec. component area & connect the short lead the short lead coming from the fuse assembly. (not sure where that wire is?) |

Re: club car precedent
Actually I may have that backwards..After seeing what you just typed, I forgot about the wire under the cover in "component area". That may be the positive..just double check. that short lead is located under the plastic cover inbetween the batteries. there is one bolt that holds that cover down. remove the bolt, pull plastic cover straight up. Now look around in there mixed in all that wiring mess, you will find a single spaded wire hiding in there...sometimes its hard to find...but its in there. That one may be the positive and the other at the battery may be the negative..I honestly ddont remeber now...good luck...you are almost there
