Lightbulb 96 cc kill switch

Newb Can anyone tell me where the kill switch is on 96 gas cc?

By the kill switch do you mean the rev limiter or the ignition key

What i understand is it kills the engine when you let off the gas .or when you want to put it in reverse.

Sounds like it to me.

Pinky, The black box under the seat on the drivers side mounted to the frame has one screw in the top to remove and snap the top off.
Inside are two micro switches, one on top of the other, the lower one when pedal is released grounds the coil and kills spark to the plug.

And yes, could you tell why you are looking for it or what symtoms you are having? We might point you to some other tests first.

I bought this cc not run. I found the large white wire go to the starter all melted, I replaced the wire and the yellow too. When you push the pedal to crank it it does nothing. The previos owner said he replaced the solenoid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
