Tether kill switch questions
Hello new to all of this I am taking a early 90's marathon to a bike rally and it says that it needs a dead man switch. Now I would like to know how about installing one I have never seen a cart with one. Or is the switch in the gas pedal.

Re: Tether kill switch questions
I beleive the key switch is only 2 wires. Run the dean man switch off one of those. I don't know of any reason that wouldn't work.
Reality is, there is a dead man switch in the foot pedal. You fall out, the motor stops. You take your foot off the pedal, it stops. Contact the organizers and see if they will accept that. WELCOME TO BGW! Last edited by tonyton; 07-07-2009 at 07:53 PM.. Reason: welcome |

Re: Tether kill switch questions
Thanks for the response, I was thinking the gas pedal has one built in, I have tried emailing the organizers waiting on a response from them.
