Default Half shafts???

I want to build an independent rear suspension. Has anyone ever adapted rear half shafts to a Kawasaki rear end?
Maybe axle and hub from a utv or irs quad?

Great question I have not seen one, I have seen the buggy rears used like from AZ buggy places. You will have to make sure the CV has enough angle to handle the travel you build for.

Someone here had a cart they built independent suspension on and it looked pretty good. They built their own half shaft setup using a regular cart rear end.

I just read page somewhere today that had specs and parts suggestion for building suspension with a Dana H-12 FNR for a custom buggy. I will look tomorrow when I get to work and try to post it. It essentially had used the IRS version of the H-12 with Polaris Sportsman 300 rear axles.

Heres the pdf I was referencing. would have to do some research on the hubs but you could probably dig deeper into the Baja SAE Buggys for answers. It seems many Universities have a baja sae team.

Find someone parting out a Bad Boy Buggy. Starting about 2010 some models came with independent suspension front and rear with McPherson coil overs.
