2005 Ezgo TXT Predator 459 /Vegas Carts swap

Hello, new (again) member here. I had a yamaha cart years ago but couldn't find my login info. I've got a 2005 Ezgo TXT that I'm doing a Predator 459 engine swap with the vegas carts 420 install kit. I haven't found much info online doing this swap yet but the guy at Vegas carts said people are doing this swap successfully. I know the exhaust manifold size is different which will require some fab work, but I'm just looking to see if anyone else has done this swap since the new Predator 459 max engine has come out. Cart is lifted with a 7" kit.

Quite a few of them on Facebook. The main issue is the exhaust flange for a header. BUT the flange is like the 625's which VC sells. They sell exhaust flanges for all 3 of the imported engines. ie The 390-460,625 and the 670. Haven't seen them anywhere else. Other than the exhaust everything else is a fit. One other note is the flywheel side of the crankshaft has a different size to it so a billet flywheel isn't an option. No billet rod for the stock piston either. The other interesting note here is that the HF 459 looks like the Zongshen 625 internally. Are we going to see a Predator 625 ?

Good deal. Thanks rayhd! I'll check those flanges out. I assume cutting the stock flange off the predator 459 and welding it onto the vegascarts exhaust would be an option also?

That would be my guess. I have not personally done it. I also wonder of just slotting the VC header flange would be enough ?
